Hi, I’m Sally Leech

I have enjoyed working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for over 30 years, beginning my career at Christchurch Hospital before spending three years in various clinical settings across the UK. After returning to New Zealand, I worked at SportsMed in Christchurch for 15 years and completed a postgraduate year at Otago University. During this time, I gained extensive experience working with national and regional teams, including the New Zealand Women’s Academy and U18 Girls Hockey, Canterbury Men’s and Women’s Hockey, the Netball World Cup, and New Zealand Women’s Cricket.

I later worked in a specialist running clinic in London and held an occupational health role back in Christchurch before joining the fantastic team at You First Physio in 2011. I treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and have a particular interest in manual therapy, sports injuries, and rehabilitation. I also enjoy taking Pilates mat and reformer classes, and our GLA:D OA classes at Longhurst.

I remain committed to professional development, regularly attending courses and conferences to ensure I provide the best possible care.
